The Council Chamber is available to hire for meetings, training sessions and other small group activities, such as yoga, Pilates and meditation.

The Chamber can comfortably seat up to 16 in boardroom style, it can also easily be reconfigured in classroom style for lectures and as a facility to hold formal written examinations.

Car parking is limited, but there is plenty of street parking available. There is high speed secure wireless internet, a large format high resolution display screen and a portable loop hearing assistance system available.

There are no catering facilities, but there are plenty of food outlets on the High Street two minutes’ walk away. A small kitchen can be used for tea and coffee.

The Council requires a security deposit for bookings. This will be refunded in full subject to the venue being vacated by the agreed time and condition which is laid down in the booking agreement.
