The Parish Council has to give formal permission for events and activities, outside of normal scheduled sports fixtures, to take place on its grounds. This covers fun days, sports tournaments, village fetes, charity events, physical training sessions, end of term celebrations, etc.
Clubs that are based on our open spaces at South Way, Toms Lane Bedmond, Langleybury, Manor House and elsewhere in the parish, lease their buildings and hire use of the pitches from the Parish Council. They do not own or manage the grounds and cannot give permission for any events to be held on those grounds. Only the Parish Council can provide permission.
Physical trainers and commercial dog walkers are also covered by these requirements.
Filming and use by production companies is also subject to prior permission. The requirements for this type of use will be dealt with on a case-by-case basis, the main concern being the potential damage heavy production vehicles can cause to playing fields.
Below are links to the documents detailing the requirements organisers need to meet, to ensure the Parish Council is in a position to give permission for an event to go ahead.
