Grants Awarded 2019-2020

The Parish Council has awarded the following grants for the financial year 2019-2020.

Financial Grants awarded in the 2019-2020 financial year by the Parish Council’s Finance and Administration Committee.

Abbots Langley Cricket Club
£650 to support the cost of soil, seed and fertiliser to maintain the cricket table.

Abbots Langley Local History Society
£1,000 to support the publication of Clive Clark’s essays in 3 volumes celebrating the 25th anniversary of the Society.

Citizens Advice Service in Three Rivers
£2,000 to support the costs of engaging a home visiting and case worker at the Abbots Langley Branch.

Langleybury Cricket Club
£2,000 to support the installation of a new roof.

Lions Club of Watford
£2,000 for the purpose of supporting the Abbots Langley Carnival and Firework Display.

St Lawrence’s Church
£2,000 to support the costs of maintenance of the churchyard maintenance and maintaining the environment.

St Paul’s Church Langleybury
£1,500 to support the costs of maintenance and improvement of the churchyard.

Financial Grant awarded in the 2019-2020 financial year by the Parish Council.

The Henderson Hub
£29,000 for the purpose of supporting the development of the hall as a community resource.

The following Small Grants (£250 or less) were awarded in 2019-2020.

Abbots Autumn Fest
£250 to support the cost of staging the “Autumn Fest 2019” on School Mead.

Abbots Langley Transition Town Association
£250 to support the cost of purchasing litter picking equipment and other activities.

AIMs – Abbots Improvement Group
£250 to support the cost of purchasing equipment to support the volunteers gardening projects.

Abbots Langley Carers
£250 to support the cost of putting on a day out for carers.
