Annual Parish Meeting

The Annual Parish Meeting is a meeting of the electorate, not a meeting of the Council. It is an opportunity for the residents to meet with the Council and to hear about the achievements of the Council in the past year and its plans for the future. There is plenty of opportunity for residents to ask questions during the meeting and to talk more informally to Councillors and Officers after the meeting has closed

The Chairman of the Council and the Committee Chairman will present their Annual Reports at the meeting, copies of which will be available from the Council Offices, or from the Agendas and Minutes page for the meeting.

Copies of the Annual Report for previous years are available from the Council Offices.

The law requires the Parish Council to hold a Parish Meeting at least once a year, between 1st March and 1st June. Most years Abbots Langley Parish Council holds their meeting in March or April.

The Annual Parish Meeting for 2012 was held in Tanners Wood Hall on Wednesday 7th March, the 2012 meeting is provisionally scheduled for Wednesday 6th March 2013 in Tanners Wood Hall.
